Nerd Nite Returns!
Event by Nerd Nite Holyoke, Gateway City Live and Gateway City Arts Gateway City Arts Divine Theater Duration: 2 hr From 7p-9p Public · Anyone on or off Facebook Nerd Nite is back! Now in Holyoke at Gateway City Arts on Race St. Sponsored by Gateway City Live, the second Thursday of each month, from 7p-9p. Make sure to order from Judd’s Restaurant across the hall and the bar will be open! (Also, we desperately need presenters so if you've got a solid 20 minute powerpoint that's fun and ready to go, please get in touch!) ($5 Suggested donation for presenters and GCL.)
The Friday Experimental Music Nights
Occurs monthly Time: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Category: Concerts Location: The Divine Theater Experimental Music Nights hosted and curated by Bonnie Kane The Divine Theatre at Gateway City Arts , 92 Race Street, Holyoke, Ma There will be a sign up sheet, for 10-15 minute slots. Multiple groupings encouraged! Play some music with your friends, meet some new friends. There will be a complete backline of drums, amps, mics, pa, etc. If you bring gear - keep it simple!!!!! You have to be able to set up before your slot and go... The party will go from 7:30 - 10:30 or 11pm Feel free to come at 7:00pm to sign up, set up, and get settled...and admire the jaw dropping renovation that has become The Divine Theater. There will be some party snacks and drink tickets, so come early. A cash bar and the fantastic food at Judd's will also be available for purchase should you need a real dinner, or a fancy drink….(they open at 5pm) Feel free to bring friends... Concerts on the Canal
NO CONCERTS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED.... Concerts on the Canal is a chamber music series at Gateway City Arts Established in early 2015, the series presents classical chamber music in an informal and intimate setting. The concerts feature music from the entire range of the classical canon, from the early Baroque to modern compositions. Artists presented on the series come from the Pioneer Valley, as well as throughout the Northeast.

Human Error Book Fair DEC. 11th, 2021
Date: December 11th, 2021. Time: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Category: Poetry Reading Location: The Divine Theater Bookfair, Readings, Art Show, Celebration!!! Gateway City Arts 92 Race St, Holyoke, MA 01040 Anyone can have table space and show case their books; individuals, writing groups, presses, etc. there is no fee for exhibiting. We are asking for a donation to help support Gateway City Arts for offering the space, There will be free coffee and tea and some baked goods. You can come to just show case your book/s or request a slot to read for 5 minutes. So let me know if you would like a slot and / or a table as soon as you can. There is a limit to the number of tables and reading slots available. Tables will be provided.
