Concerts on the Canal: "Bach and Friends"

Please join us for an afternoon concert of delightful Baroque music. This performance features J.S. Bach’s playful “Wedding” Cantata (BWV 202) which celebrates the arrival of spring combined with the joyful occasion of a wedding. Also on the program is the Oboe Sonata in C minor by Giovanni Platti, a contemporary of Bach’s, as well as selections from the “Schemelli Songbook,” a collection of favorite devotional songs from Bach’s era. Free and open to the public.
